Tattoo Booking

~ PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SUBMITTING A FORM ~

Hello! I appreciate your interest in working with me & I look forward to connecting with you through this beautiful art form. You can expect a response typically in less than a week. Make sure you add my email (ustiwayacreations@gmail.com) to your whitelist - as many of my clients have mentioned my responses going into their spam folder!

Where do you tattoo? Tattoo Gloriosum: 1210 1/2 S Walnut St Bloomington, IN.

I also frequently travel to Raleigh, NC to tattoo.

When do you tattoo? I tattoo 2-3 times a week & am available Thursday - Sundays. If I am guest spotting in a location - pay attention to the dates listed because this will change my available days!

What’s your rate? Changes based on method. Sliding scale options alway available, please be honest about your budget if money is a barrier for you.

Handpoke: I charge $150/hr with an additional $100 custom drawing fee for all custom designs. Typically, most of my handpoke tattoos can range anywhere from 2-6 hours. Large scale pieces will be split into multiple sessions, which can be paid separately for each session (this can help spreading out payment & make financing your tattoo more manageable ). Smaller, less detailed designs can be done in 1-2 hours. Since each design varies in detail, size, placement & complexity - I am more than happy to give a estimated quote on a piece before starting the tattoo session! If receiving a flash design - your deposit goes towards your final tattoo cost. Be prepared to send a $100 deposit to my venmo @cry_bubby_ upon submitting a form.

Machine: Since I am still learning my machine, I am offering these tattoos at $100-150/hr sliding scale. Most machine tattoos can be done in half the time of a handpoke, at least.

How much do I tip? The standard is 20% - I am required to pay out a portion of my fees to the studio, so tipping helps give back directly to me as an artist. Tipping helps contribute to cost of my supplies, my energy & the cost to tattoo out of a studio. Also welcome gifts as tips <3

What is your cancelation policy?  I will allow a rescheduling date (but we will have to work around my other bookings)! All deposits are non-refundable. This policy protects me, my work & other eager clients awaiting to be scheduled.

What is the difference between a flash design, custom design & a freehand design? A flash design is a pre-drawn idea or vision I make when allowing myself to be most expressive & exploratory with my style & subject matter. These are pieces that I feel inspired to draw through tapping into a cosmic collective imagery source & can be a powerful way of helping someone connect with a piece that maybe they wouldn’t have imagined on their own. These pieces are very special to me because they allow me to create for others by honoring my own intuitive creative urges! You can view my flash designs on my website under the Illustration tab or by visiting my Instagram @usti_waya.

A custom design is when a client approaches me with their own idea or vision for me to translate through my own style & expression. This does not include me tattooing or drawing an exact replica of another artist’s work. If you already have an idea of what you would like but I do not have an already existing drawing of that idea - a custom design is what you are looking for. When booking for a custom design, it is essential that you add inspiration photos, drawings, or anything (even small details) that will help me translate your vision on your booking request.

A freehand design is when I directly draw a design on you in person the day of the tattoo. Sometimes this process can include part freehand with the addition of some pre-drawn elements. I love doing freehand pieces as this allows for a design to be completely tailored to your form & spirit. Usually to book a session like this, I will visualize & sketch some ideas that will serve as a blueprint for the free handed tattoo. It is also best to have a consultation for a free-hand tattoo.

What should I bring to my tattoo appointment/how to prepare? I always suggest you eat a nice meal before being tattooed. Bring yourself water, snacks, and anything you need to feel comfortable. You can also bring a friend to accompany you if you would like. I also suggest getting clear on your intentions for being tattooed - we can discuss this further before your session or you can hold your intention privately. Tattooing one’s body is magic - the images, symbols & experience will go on to live in your skin forever & act as a prayer for your intentions. Do not drink alcohol or consume and drugs before your tattoo.

When can I expect to see my design? I like to send rough sketches throughout my design process to get a clearer idea of your vision. But the final design isn’t always done until the day before the session. I am hoping that you found my art because you connect with my style & are willing to trust my process. If you would like to have the design before a certain date - please let me know early on…I can try my best to accommodate you.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST & I LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU IN THE FUTURE
